I recently moved into a new space that has a den area. It's small but still large enough to accommodate my office and to my surprise a guest area. Previously, I was using a blow up bed for my guest stays and 1 guest (my mother) informed me how much she did not like that option.
Thank goodness I found SPAZE. I was having trouble finding a piece that was the correct size, easy to transform, suitable colors and at a good price point. I found all of in my Coda sofa / bed.

This sofa perfectly fit the tight area we were looking to fill and actually offered a queen sized bed, which was great. Be forewarned that the bed is very low to the ground and not very soft, so I would recommend getting a nice mattress topper to help. Also note that the sides of the sofa bed don’t go down. But all in all, it’s a great option to fit into a tight space.

Sofa is perfect size so I can still use the room for other things and use it for guests sleeping over. It is firm and lightweight. Color blue is as seen on website. It looks different in other people's photos though. I am happy with my sofa and it's many convertible choices and size and color.

I needed a guest room couch that didn't have a large footprint so I could use the room as a workout room and then I could fold out the couch into a bed for guests. I didn't want hard couch arms that I would for-sure hit when I worked out and I didn't want a small twin for adult guests (this folds out to a full). This couch checked all the boxes. Delivery was easy (they brought the heavy box upstairs for me), all I had to do was screw in the legs. It's a pretty hard couch (I wouldn't like it if it was my main, couch-potato couch) and the fold out is hard as well, but I bought a cheap foam topper and it works pretty well. Folding it into a bed (and back) is super easy. It's a beautiful color and it works for me...and my cat :-)

It's surprisingly difficult to find an affordable sofa bed the size of a full/double mattress, that also looks modern. Luckily I came across Spaze Furniture via an Instagram ad, and their offerings checked all the boxes.
I ordered the Coda 2S 2 seat sofa in stone grey, along with the mattress topper, meant for the office/guest room.
Assembling it was very simple -- just attach the legs and you're good to go.
I was surprised by its small size as a sofa, but it's pretty close to a full/double bed. It can comfortably fit two adults.
In terms of comfort, it's quite firm… much firmer than you would expect. Unless you are ok with an extra-firm mattress, I'd recommend getting the mattress topper. With it, I think it's comfortable to sleep on. The mattress topper itself comes in a cloth case rolled up, and is quite large!
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. It will serve very well as a sofa during the 9-5 working hours, and as bed when guests stay over.

We went with the CODA 2S sofa bed for our tiny upstairs guest bedroom and this design maximized comfort, modern design, and a really highly quality sleeping option for guests that we will keep forever even if we move into a bigger house someday. It’s very sturdy, super easy to open up and put back into the sofa position. It has no “college dorm futon” feel whatsoever. It’s also a very cool option for lounging in different positions even when you don’t need the extra sleep space. We bought the foam mattress topper as well. Our guests have said it is very very comfortable. The only catch was delivery which was limited to certain cities. Fortunately my sister in law lives in Berkeley where it was delivered and then I drove it to Sacramento. That also speaks to how superior this product was for our needs as opposed to the hundreds of furniture stores I passed along the way to pick it up.

Recently hosted out of town guests for 9 days – first time since the start of Covid. This necessitated turning a small den into a temporary guest room, so purchased Spaze Coda 2S sofa bed and mattress topper in Ocean (teal) color. It worked perfectly. The couple who slept on it found it extremely comfortable. The mattress topper is a must have, otherwise it may be too firm for most to sleep on. As a bed it sits close to the floor. This sofa style was chosen for its sleek but narrow (only 55.5” wide) profile. Sofa seat is very firm, which is my personal preference. Ordering was easy and delivery came on time, no mean feat in this age of supply chain delays. I nearly left it too late to order before guests arrived, but an email to the main office brought assurances of timely arrival. The actual delivery was professionally handled and the box was carried into the house. All that was needed to put it together was attaching 4 legs.

After spending a lot of time searching, I found the Coda 2S sofa bed from Spaze. The frame is durable, seats are comfortable and the fabric has a great quality weave and texture. It is sturdy with enough weight for stability, yet light enough to operate safely. It was perfect size for my guest bedroom that also functions as a lounge/office area most of the time. As a sofa bed, it is full sized (can sleep up to two average-sized persons). The Coda 2S has a smaller footprint and more functional than having a murphy bed or just a sofa. We got the Spaze Coda 2S and it's perfect for the little space we needed to fit it in. We needed a bed to add to my office so we could also use it as a spare room - so I needed it to take up as little space as possible. The Coda 2S was perfect for taking up minimal space but still providing a full size bed when opened out. It also looks great - and comfortable as a sofa (on the firmer side, but I like that) and a bed. Super easy to fold out too - and can also have in the lounging function which is pretty cool. Have already had my brother sleep on it - and he said he had a great nights sleep. Highly recommended if you need something for a small space.

The teal is really pretty, a very deep dark teal. Are the Coda series firm? Yes but we prefer this. We are so happy to get rid of the soft leather love seat that was killing our back and now we have lots of accommodation for family sleepovers (post Covid of course).
