I got this sofa bed to replace an old freestanding wall bed in my office that was extremely heavy and difficult to raise/lower. I’m extremely happy with it! The color and style look great, and it fits perfectly in the nook where the bed used to be. The instructions recommend two people for assembly, but I was able to do it by myself. Like other reviewers have mentioned it’s very firm. That wouldn’t be a problem for me because I like a firm bed, but I picked up cheap a 1.5” foam topper to spread out on top when guests sleep on it to make it feel a little softer. Getting sheets on the bed can be a bit of a pain - mostly because of where I put it, but also because of the shape of the cushions and how they attach to the frame which prevents the sheets from being able to tuck under anything. But that’s just a very minor gripe with an otherwise great sofa bed.

I moved to a smaller place and was in need of a new sofa bed for my home office/guest bedroom that will replace the queen size guest bed I had to leave behind. Since I was planning on reusing the headboard from the old guest bedroom, I needed something that can fit in between but would still serve as a queen sized bed. A lot of the sofa beds I’ve looked up online were either too wide or smaller than a queen size bed when pulled out.. Then I found Spaze and this Bamton sofa bed really stood out to me bc it fit both of the criteria I was looking for!
Shipping was within a reasonable timeframe and the delivery guys were great. I was able to assemble the sofa bed within 20 minutes by myself (I am a 5’4” female). It feels way more firmer than I had anticipated but no complaints here :)
Color was exactly what I expected and it goes great with my headboard. I am very excited to have my guests visit and make good use out of it – until then, it will be used for taking little breaks here and there from work!

Ordering was easy and shipping was painless. I assembled the support legs without help, though it would have been a little easier with a helper to aid in holding the sofa and turning it over to bolt on the legs. The hardest and most time consuming part was breaking down the box for disposal. The sofa is comfortable and a breeze to pull out into a bed.

I ordered the Bamton as I needed a sofa bed to fit in a small nook. I wanted something firm for a more comfortable sleep for guests. Bamton is 3 on the Spaze firmness scale. After having it a month and only using it for sitting so far I find it really really firm. I would not say it is a comfortable sofa but it may break in. The firmness is important to me for sleep quality (I prefer firm for sleeping) and durability, but as of now the back pillows and seat of the sofa have little give. I probably will get a topper for use when guests sleep on it. I like that it is 16 inches off the ground when sleeping as a lot of sleep sofas are lower to the ground. That was also a selling point.
Clean look. Decent fabric that is as salesperson on phone described - like velvet without fuzzy feel. Not soft (but not rough either) and not deep like velvet but seems it will withstand wear and tear of use without nubbing. Time will tell. I put stain resistant spray on the cushions as a protective measure. I feel the fabric will hold up even with my puppy lounging on it.
I have a bit of difficulty pulling out the sofa just because the cushions are heavy. But that means it is sturdy and solid.
I think it was a good buy sight unseen with pretty decent quality in build, fabric, sturdiness. It fits my dimensions. The shipping and delivery and set up were easy with white glove service. Overall a good buy and I hope it will feel more comfy as a sofa with time.

It’s the perfect size for the room, so I’ll still have space for the office, and when guests come, they’ll have a queen-sized bed. The color goes well. The process took more than 15 minutes; I’d say it was around 20-25 minutes, but overall, it was very easy to open and close. It’s firm and comfortable, and I’m happy with my purchase! We actually have someone coming, so it’ll be the first person to sleep on it. In the meantime, I have my TV set up here so I can relax and enjoy.

I hesitated a bit at first to buy the Bamton Armless Sofa Bed (pull-out sofa) as the company was new and there were relatively few reviews but I really liked the compact design so I went through with the purchase, and so far I am quite satisfied with it.
