 The Oslo features high-density foam cushions that provide a firm, supportive sleeping surface, rated level 3 on our softness scale. This model is ideal for occasional use — for extended stays, we recommend adding a mattress topper to enhance comfort.

The Oslo is made with a heavy-duty metal frame, while the Alure is made with a solid wood frame. Both are durable, but the Oslo is lighter, firmer (Level 3 on our comfort scale), and offers a more contemporary, modern look with a click-clack mechanism. The Alure has a slightly softer feel (Level 4), a traditional design, and a wall-hugger pull-out mechanism. Both are top sellers in our queen-sized sofa bed collection.

You need 18 inches of clearance behind the sofa to open it into the bed position.

The Oslo's backrest ratchets into five positions, so you can adjust it for upright seating, a reclined lounge position, or fully flat for sleeping. To use it as a lounge chair, simply ratchet the back to your preferred recline angle.

To convert it into a bed, extend the four hidden support legs — two in front, two in back — found inside the zippered compartments on the sofa. This step is essential; skipping it means the bed won't lay flat or have proper support.
