Frequently Asked Questions

How comfortable is the Oslo Sofa Bed for sleeping?

The Oslo features high-density foam cushions that provide a firm, supportive sleeping surface, rated level 3 on our softness scale. This model is ideal for occasional use — for extended stays, we recommend adding a mattress topper to enhance comfort.

What is the difference between the Oslo and Alure?

The Oslo is made with a heavy-duty metal frame, while the Alure is made with a solid wood frame. Both are durable, but the Oslo is lighter, firmer (Level 3 on our comfort scale), and offers a more contemporary, modern look with a click-clack mechanism. The Alure has a slightly softer feel (Level 4), a traditional design, and a wall-hugger pull-out mechanism. Both are top sellers in our queen-sized sofa bed collection.

How much space is needed behind the sofa to open it into a bed?

You need 18 inches of clearance behind the sofa to open it into the bed position.

How do I use the Oslo's different positions?

The Oslo's backrest ratchets into five positions, so you can adjust it for upright seating, a reclined lounge position, or fully flat for sleeping. To use it as a lounge chair, simply ratchet the back to your preferred recline angle.

To convert it into a bed, extend the four hidden support legs — two in front, two in back — found inside the zippered compartments on the sofa. This step is essential; skipping it means the bed won't lay flat or have proper support.

Can the covers on this sofa bed be replaced?

Yes, we can make a custom order for an additional cover set in any fabric color available on our website. The turnaround time is typically 2–4 weeks once the order has been placed. If you’re interested, please reach out to us at contact@spaze.com, and we’ll provide you with a quote.

Can I see the Oslo in person before buying?

Spaze is 100% online, so we don't have a showroom. We recommend browsing our customer reviews and the Spaze Firmness Scale page for comfort and feel details before ordering. We ship from warehouses in Los Angeles and New York, so most customers receive their order quickly regardless of location.

Have more questions? Reach us by email at contact@spaze.com or by phone at 1-866-520-0755, or visit our FAQ page for more information.

What is the delivery cost and timeline?

Most items ship within 7–14 business days to standard zones (West & East Coast, most major cities), or 10–20 business days outside those zones. Delivery cost starts at $199 for orders under $999 and $99 for orders $999+ in standard zones (assembly add-on: $50); outside standard zones, an estimated fee is charged at checkout and confirmed once we get a quote from our delivery partner.

Once your order ships, our delivery partner will reach out to schedule your appointment. For full details, visit our Shipping Policy.

Do I need to keep the original packaging in case I want to return it?

Yes — please hold onto the original box and packaging until you're sure you'd like to keep the Bamton. Returns without original packaging may be subject to an additional fee, since the box is large and requires proper protective packing for return shipping.
